I would like to dedicate our site to my parents. My parents loved their six children as much as they loved each other. My mother had Alheizmer's Disease and due to the nature of the disease my father had no other choice but to put her into a nursing home in 2004. It was difficult for my father to be by himself as he had Asbestosis. The with the difficulties of that disease (especially the cold winters) the winter of 2007 my father caught pneumonia. His body was already weak with the complications of Asbestosis and with the evaluation from the doctor it was best that he also enter the nursing home. My father was in the nursing home a couple days past one month when the good Lord took him to where there was no more difficulties in his life. My brothers, sisters, myself, other family members and neighboring friends bid farewell to my father. We all returned to our homes, started with our daily routines the best we could, only to get another distressing early morning call 6 days later that our mother also passed away. Again brothers, sisters, myself, other family members and neighboring friends bid final farwell to my mother. Yes, it was extremely hard to imagine both parents passing away in the same month, let alone 15 days apart.
Yes, they truly did love each other. Over and over and over I hear the words in my head my mother often spoke out loud "I just love my husband so much". I am sure that my father loved her just as much. They were good parents. I do miss them very much and know I probably will miss them for a very long time.
So, dad and mom, whereever you may be, thank you for doing your job at bringing me up to be the person I am today. Keep an eye on me until we are all able to be together again.
I love both of you always, Your daughter, Ann
